Hi Colin, I meant to e mail you before this just to
let you know my A6 3.0 TDi QUATTRO is a revelation
after your re map. It is a different car much
smoother and quieter and very quick .Fuel
consumption is better for example today I did a 100
mile round trip to Bournemouth using A roads, no
motorways, in fairly heavy traffic and the computer
showed 44 mpg! Exceptional for a 4wd 3.0 litre
diesel ,I cant wait for the summer and taking it
down the motorways in Spain and France!

Hi Colin, Just wanted to say thank you for putting
the smile back on my face.... Since you re-mapped my
Mondeo its like driving a completely different car,
the power is amazing and the performance as a whole
is second to none. Haven't had a car beat me yet,
and every time i accelerate its like pressing a warp
drive peddle. And I've also noticed the MPG has gone

I contacted CNL Remapping for an initial
consultation of the idea and immediately felt
settled as I was professionally guided through the
concept and the benefits of the service.
When Colin arrived at my home to deliver the
service, I was greeted by a thoroughly professional
man who I was immediately at ease with who
subsequently reassured me of the procedure, before
he went about his business.
As an inquisitive type, right the way through the
entire procedure he calmly and competently talked me
the through each stage. Once the process was
complete we went out for a brief test run, and the
results were instantaneously noticeable.
Over the subsequent days that followed I have
obviously travelled on several different journeys
ranging from urban, rural and motorway and each time
I am taken aback at the responsiveness, the easy the
vehicle changes gears, the quietness of the engine
and above all else the improvement of the fuel,
which of course is great since it is improving on an
already excessive the carbon footprint. I have
already recommended CNL to a number of colleagues,

Hi Colin,
Hope you're well and the business is going from
strength to strength?
Thought I'd leave it a few weeks before letting you
know how the car's performing since you
carried out the remap.
If I'm totally honest, I still can't get my head
around how fast the car is now. Rough
estimates put the 0-60 around the 4.6 mark, down
from the original 5.4. As for throttle response -
ridiculous!
I've never driven a car that's so responsive through
all gears. I'm almost embarrassed to admit the
best I have mustered is 130 on a very quiet M6 Toll
road! :o(
Fuel consumption is running at 25-26 mpg combined,
which is an increase of approx. 20%. So not
only have a got a pretty unique car (still not seen
another one on the road), it will give M3's and
RS4's (un-remapped of course!) a run for their
money.
Would recommend your service to anyone, you've
completely changed the characteristics of the
car - it's faster, smoother and cheaper on fuel!
Will definitely be back in contact when it's time
for a change.

Just want to give a big shout out and thanks to
Colin. His remap on my car has left me with a huge
smile and an empty tank!
Had the car done at Pod on Sunday, and loved it from
the moment I drove it.
Was amazed at how smooth it has made the engine, and
how freely it revs. It was so impressive that whilst
at Pod, the Mrs was sat in the car and Colin started
it and ran the diagnostics after the map. A few
minutes later, I got in to give the loud pedal a
prod, and the other half was amazed as she didn't
even realise the car was still on!
I thought the torque was pretty good before the
remap, but since, its more like a tidal wave - pulls
like a train for sure! Its also great on fuel, drove
back from Pod with the cruise around 70ish +/- 10
mph, if you catch my drift, and managed to get 48.1
mpg on the run back to Surrey! Had to go to Reading
today, and on a combined run, with a bit of town and
motorway driving - with some heavy foot action at
times, I averaged 37.5mpg, so that's superb given
the pace that was being used.
Colin, it was well worth it, and the only regret is
that I didn't have it done sooner! Will definitely
be spreading the word and I am sure a few others
will want maps done too in the near future. Top
bloke, Top Service!

start acting - its so worth it - especially on a
derv.

Hi All,
New to the forum, I would just like to say a big
thank you to Colin from CNL Remapping what a star
!!, I made an enquiry about remapping my 330CD coupe
sport after reading various posts and feedback about
Colin and CNL so decided to take the plunge and have
my sport done. Colin was very professional spent
time on the phone before even starting the job, he
then re-jigged his workload (Special thanks for
accommodating at short notice) to come and do my car
as I was off this week.
Colin is an incredible fella, he takes the time out
to explain exactly what he is doing, is very helpful
and gives an outstanding service and to be honest
you could not ask for a better bloke to be working
on your pride and joy.
So any one considering doing a remap don't bother
wasting your time searching for different prices or
mappers sifting through endless posts, that's the
idea behind this post CNL's service that Colin
provides is worth every penny and get Colin to do
the job for you.
The car is amazingly different once the jobs done,
engine is so much more smoother and quite and yes it
pulls like an express train in every gear change,
amazing !! very happy and should of got it done ages
ago.

Thanks to Colin for not only remapping my car but
providing a service. A service that not only
includes remapping but diagnostics, general checking
over of your engine and answering all of my many
questions.
I got a great price and the whole remap took just
short of 2hrs(including test drives).
The difference is phenomenal, it amazes me why the
car didn't come out of the factory like this. So much
smoother, and quieter. It's worth the remap just for
those two factors. I travel 400+ miles each week and
the extra MPG is showing. Almost 10MPG more than
previous on motorways, roughly 5MPG than previous on
the daily commute.
Saving the best for last.....POOOWWWEEERRRR!!!! - A
whopping 60BHP extra!
You tell me where you can get all of the above for
the same price?!!

I'd just like to thank Colin for all his efforts in
helping me get my car to the way it is now. The 6
weeks before i got my car remapped i was constantly
on the phone to Colin, asking for advise on what
mods i could get away with and what i couldn't. So
I'd like to thank Colin at CNL tuning for that. CNL
was the only company that made the time and effort
to return phones calls and answer my many question.
As for the remap itself, it's brilliant and i now
get an extra 100 mile per tank - the car pulls like
a train in every gear. The engine is so much
smoother and quieter. I can't recommend this guy
enough. No-one else will give you a more personal
service. Why didn't ford make the car like this to
start with?

I would just like to say a huge thanks to Colin for
setting up of my Mondeo ST. After various mods I
wanted to get someone who could custom map it and by
heck did CNL do that. Out did the other and came
back with a map that takes a Mondeo ST TDCi (155BHP)
to a stomping 218BHP (with mods) and Torque to seed
you back in time. The car is amazing to drive now
and with only 3days worth of driving even the MPG
has increased. Very very happy. Anyone looking to
get their car mapped - look no further, you want the
best, you have just found them.
My thanks to Colin for having the patience of an
angel and for Peter and Jim their hard work.

After searching through many remapping sites on the
internet, i came across CNL Remapping and decided to
contact Colin to book an appointment to remap my
Audi Quattro TT 180 bhp.
Well I'm so glad I did !! Colin has brought the life
back to my car & it now performs like a TT should.
My car is so much smoother, powerful & is a dream to
drive. I never want to get out from my car now after
a drive!
Colin is a very friendly, reliable and helpful
person, who explained everything he was doing during
the remap.

Hello Colin
Just a quick feedback to let you know that I am very
happy with the Remap.
The car pulls away very nicely, it drives like a
dream now and is a lot quieter.
I think that the fuel economy is a lot better but I
can't help flooring it so I don't have any real
figures but if I was to guess I would say that I am
doing around 30 mpg if I slow down.

I had Colin rewrite the ECU on my Ford Mondeo 2.0l
TDCI, we were not sure what to expect but when we
restarted the car after the remapping both Colin and
I looked at each other and could not believe the
difference, it had been like starting a different
car, the engine is much quieter and smoother running.
The pulling power is much better it's almost like
driving a petrol engine but with bags of torque, it
pulls smoothly from low revs now where it wouldn't
before, I'm not sure about the fuel consumption
because I'm still driving it like a tw#t, but it
certainly isn't worse than before, about 42mpg. Have
yours remapped now, it will be the cheapest new car
you've ever had.

I would like to thank Colin on a professional job
remapping my Skoda Octavia 1.8t vrs. The performance
is staggering, to have so much power is
unbelievable, but it is in the lower gears also that
I have noticed the change. The car is smoother
to drive its like having a different car. If
anyone is considering a remap I would certainly
recommend Colin without hesitation. My son has also
had Colin to remap his BMW and he is also very

Hi Colin,
Hope you are well and keeping busy. Just wanted to
let you know how fantastic the car is, it was
already superb but after your visit its now
transformed into a Ferrari in disguise! (well, you
know what I mean).
It's also even smoother and delivering another three
miles to the gallon and is now averaging 46mpg!
How can a car go that fast and do 46mpg?

Hi Colin when I asked you if you were able to tune
my Peugeot 206 HDi GTi, i was so excited when you
told me yes.
Well what can I say, from going from a 110 bhp to
140 bhp the performance is excellent, I have a
constant grin on my face especially when I'm at the
traffic lights, the pulling power is so much more
responsive than ever before. I never want to go
home. Its like I'm driving a new car that just wants
to keep on going. My friends cant believe its a
diesel engine, its great fun and i love it.

I had Colin from CNL Remapping out to remap my BMW
330d sport. I thought that being a BMW that there
wouldn't be that much to gain from having this
done........HOW WRONG WAS I!!!!!!!!!!!
It has totally transformed the car in all aspects.
It has made it a lot smoother throughout the rev
range and the added torque makes it in effortless
drive on all roads. The added power is certainly
noticeable as well, from ease of overtaking right
through to the odd B road blast on a Sunday
afternoon.
The added bonus is that i am now seeing about 5mpg
MORE when driving round town...So that keeps the
missus happy.
All in all Colin did a superb job and the gains were
exactly what he said they would be. He was very
professional in the job and answered all questions
that i asked......So much so that i have sent a few
of my friends to him to get there cars remapped.
I will definitely use his services again.
